Abstract

Partners in this Community Partnership Program are high school and vocational economic teachers in the cities of Surabaya, East Java Province. The problem faced by partners is the banking accounting learning method at the high school and vocational high school level that still relies on a classical approach so that students have not been able to understand and practice banking accounting transactions that are in accordance with the actual conditions in the bank's front office section that has been based on the bank's information technology system. The high school and vocational high school teachers in the economic field who teach banking accounting do not have knowledge of banking accounting transactions based on information system technology, so that high school and vocational high school graduates do not have sufficient competence when there are offers to work in the bank's front office as tellers and customers service. The teachers do not have a working paper module for bank accounting practices in the front office section that makes it easy for students to understand the real banking accounting cycle. The problem is given a solution through the activities of developing bank accounting information system software in the bank accounting cycle in the front office. Providing training to improve understanding, knowledge and ability of bank accounting practices in the front office section to high school and vocational high school teachers so that teachers can have knowledge in the learning process to students. Designing practical paper-based modules for banking accounting transactions in the front office. The method that will be used to achieve this goal is training and mentoring banking accounting laboratory practices using SIAB software
